Christmas Eve at the lake

Nephew Bill shucked the oysters and the rest enjoyed his work: Susie, Bill, Bob, Anne and Rob.

We gathered for dinner at the lake. It was cozy and fun: four tables, 13 oldsters, 7 young ones, lots of hors d'Ĺ“uvres, Bill's oyster stew, Susan's Christmas cookies, and Bob's chocolate ice cream to finish the meal. What a day!

YAY for Christmas!
I love you! You throw GREAT parties!
Now that looks like fun! I have to admit, Christmas Eve is the worst day for living abroad. I miss the family gathering at my Grandparent's place. The tradition did not mean much to me until the option of being there was taken away. Anyway...
Merry Christmas... a day late.
